Description:

The position involves working as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) in a Cardiac Cath/EP Lab. This role requires certified technicians to assist with invasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures, including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Anticipate and provide required equipment during procedures.
• Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments.
• Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the state requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law.
• Extensive experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever.
• Required experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support such as ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo.
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures like TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, and Valvuloplasty.
• Critical care or cardiac experience mandatory.
• Must have the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI or ARRT.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
• Possession of RCIS certification.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series.

• Proven expertise in cardiac procedures and sterile field preparation.
• Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to changing roles within the procedure team.

Candidates must possess a combination of technical skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
