Description

Position Overview:

Area: ICU Float Position
Units: Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC

Unit Details:

Bed Capacity: 32 Beds
Staffing Ratios: Typically 1:2; may adjust to 1:1 based on patient acuity
Patient Cases: SEPSIS, ESRD & AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, respiratory failure
Preferred Experience:
1 year in a Level 1 ICU
2 years preferred in a MICU setting

Certifications Required:

NIHSS
BLS and ACLS (Both through the American Heart Association)

Additional Information:

Seeking strong ICU nurses with robust backgrounds. Nurses with only 1 year of experience who were new graduates may not meet the unit's needs.
