Role Summary:

The Cath Lab is an advanced inpatient and outpatient procedural area specializing in mechanical and electrical diagnostics and interventions for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region. It includes four Cath Labs and three EP Labs serving both adult and pediatric patients with diverse conditions. The facility offers a comprehensive program with a dedicated pre and post-procedural care holding area.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Trained in moderate sedation
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia and telemetry
• Expertise in TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Experience in:
• Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics
• Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis
• Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
• Mechanical circulatory support experience including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural heart experience with procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Background in critical care or cardiac care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and associated equipment
• Prior EP Lab experience

Key Skills:

• EP and Cath experience: Required (2 years)
• BLS (AHA): Required
• ACLS (AHA): Required
• Moderate sedation training: Required
• Telemetry: Required
