Schedule Overview

• Monday and Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Every Other Weekend:
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 11:30 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Weekly Schedule Pattern: - Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday - Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday - Week 4: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

General Information

• Patient Volume: Varies based on day and emergency room activity; typically slower overnight.
• Imaging Equipment:
• Philips Incisive CT
• Philips Spectral CT
• Philips C-90 X-ray
• GE X-ray portable
• OEC C-arms
• Additional Modalities: CT and X-ray

Patient Population

• Emergency Department
• Inpatient
• Outpatient and procedural cases

Average Scans

• Approximately 12 to 20 scans per technologist per shift

Shift & Scheduling

• Coverage:
• Weekdays: 2 techs during the day, 2 technologists until 9:00 PM
• Weekends: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with an on-call tech; 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 2 technologists
• On-Call Requirements: None

Clinical Scope

• Common Scan Types:
• Emergency, Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic imaging
• Contrast Studies: Technologists are responsible for initiating and monitoring contrast exams as applicable

Certifications & Credentials

• Required Certifications:
• ARRT (R)(CT)
• BLS
• Licensure:
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• New York State Injection License (IV contrast injection certification/authorization)

Note: New York State radiology licensure typically has a 2 to 4-week processing turnaround for out-of-state candidates.
