Position / Specialty: ICU RN with Cardiac EXP or CVICU RN
Shift: Nights (1800-0630)
20 rooms/beds on unit. 1:2 ratios
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.
Certs REQ: ACLS, BLC, NIH required.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Special Requirements: Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention skills/experience required. Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience required. Required IV therapy skills/experience: Accessing ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. CVA/Acute Stroke management experience required. Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills/Experience: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Code blue/rapid response
