**Travel RN – Oncology / Chemotherapy Infusion | Days | $2,407/Week**
Maximum Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced **Oncology RN with chemotherapy credentials** for a **13-week travel assignment** with **UChicago Medicine’s Multispecialty Cancer Center** in Northwest Indiana.

**Weekly Pay Breakdown**
- **Taxable pay:** $28.50/hour × 40 hours = **$1,140**

- **Taxable overtime rate:** **$42.75/hour after 40 hours**
Estimated weekly compensation assumes 40 paid hours and seven eligible travel days/nights. Travel allowances are available to qualifying travelers under applicable reimbursement requirements. Actual compensation may vary with hours worked and reimbursement eligibility.
**Work Locations**
Primary coverage is in **Valparaiso**, with required floating and time split between:
- **Valparaiso:** 2505 Valley Drive, Valparaiso, IN
- **Crown Point:** 10855 Virginia Street, Crown Point, IN
Candidates must be able to travel between both locations.
**Responsibilities**
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive infusions.
- Access and manage implanted ports, central lines, and PICCs.
- Administer blood products, hydration, and prescribed medications.
- Recognize and respond to infusion reactions, anaphylaxis, extravasation, tumor lysis syndrome, and other oncologic emergencies.
- Manage treatment-related symptoms and provide patient and family education.
- Follow chemotherapy handling, neutropenic precautions, and infection prevention protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
**Qualifications**
- **Active Indiana RN license**
- Two years of relevant nursing experience requested; exceptions require facility review.
- Current **BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy credentials**
- **Epic experience required**
- Oncology infusion experience, including chemotherapy administration, port access, central line care, and infusion pump management
- Previous travel experience is not required.
**Scheduling Expectations**
- Floating between Valparaiso and Crown Point is required.
- Block scheduling is unavailable.
- Requested time off is limited to **three days**, with none during the first or last week.
