Position / Specialty: RN Emergency Room
Shift: PM 3x12s, 7:00pm-7:30am
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month
On Call: 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period (call shifts are 13-hours, with expectation that traveler is onsite within an hour)
Block Scheduling: No

Years of experience REQ: 3+ years in ED experience preferred
Certs REQ: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC highly preferred
Other: EPIC experience Required, Trauma Level 2 or Higher Preferred

Locals accepted: Yes -locals preferred. Local is considered within 75 miles of the facility
Pending License accepted: No

Department Specific Job Functions:
-Implements procedures and theories specific to ED nursing.
-Performs patient assessment and develops care plan in collaboration with providers, family and patient.
-Executes plan of care and nursing interventions.
-Modifies care plan based on continuous assessment.
-Is responsible for patient and staff safety through appropriate nursing interventions, adhering to safety standards and correcting/reporting safety hazards.
-Effectively communicates/collaborates with staff, visitors and families to promote a healthy and healing work environment.
-Provides feedback to peers to aide in professional development, increase knowledge base and problem solve.
-Maintains accurate and up to date patient records/documentation.
