Responsibilities: The Surgery Procedural Assist supports safe and efficient surgical operations by providing patient transport, positioning, and direct procedural assistance under clinical supervision. This role ensures the OR is prepared and equipped for procedures by organizing supplies, maintaining equipment, and supporting room turnover. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures, preparing and troubleshooting equipment, managing sterile and non-sterile supplies, coordinating instrumentation with Sterile Processing, and maintaining compliance with safety and infection control standards. The position plays a key role in ensuring seamless workflow, patient safety, and high-quality perioperative care.Qualifications: Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Enrollment in a Surgical Technology program may be substituted in lieu of experience Experience• 1 year of medical work experience required Licenses and Certifications• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required Disclaimers:

Having to float downtown. When I was there the management kept changing. Moving antepartum back and forth to 2nd floor when 1st floor antepartum rooms needed to be used.
