Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of the surgery schedule including coordination with surgeons and use of software.
• Works closely with physicians in the Department of Anesthesia to coordinate and communicate anesthesiologist assignments.
• Prepares and distributes the surgery schedule.

Qualifications: Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Completion of college level course-work in business or administrative sciences preferred Experience• Experience as a scheduling clerk in an acute care hospital preferred• Familiarity with surgical procedures and proven knowledge of Medical Terminology obtained from previous work experience or class preferred• Experience with EPIC preferred Disclaimers:
