Location: Utica, New York
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Local Radius: 75 miles
EMR: Epic
Unit: Medical/Surgical

Compensation
Total Pay Rate: $70/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,520/week (All-Inclusive)
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week
Daily OT: After 24 hours, based on applicable multiplier
Weekly OT: After 48 hours, based on applicable multiplier
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical for a 13-week night shift contract in Utica, NY. The RN will provide high-quality care to adult medical/surgical patients, including post-surgical patients with a variety of complex diagnoses.

Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed.
Floating is required.
Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Adult patients
Post-surgical care
Abdominal pain
Cholelithiasis
Osteoarthritis
Fractures
Back pain
Morbid obesity and bariatric surgery patients
Specialty Equipment
IV pumps
NG tubes
Feeding tubes
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
Travel nursing experience is required
Active New York RN license
All active RN licenses must be verified
Current AHA BLS certification
Epic EMR experience
Updated resume documenting relevant Medical/Surgical and travel experience
Specialty-specific skills checklist
Valid driver's license with address matching candidate demographics
Nursys license verification report
RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted at the time of submission

Local candidates are accepted at the applicable local rate. Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are considered local.
