Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Educator

Location: Washington, DC

Start Date: 07/06/2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 5x8 Days

Hours/Week: 40

Estimated Gross Pay Per Week Up To: $2363.20 (includes up to $1563.20 travel stipend)

Position Summary:

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Educator Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 40 hours per week contract in Washington, DC. Job Requirements:

1 previous travel experience required
At least 3-5 years with both scrub and circulate experience
Trauma Level I experience preferred
2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
Must complete a minimum of 1 travel assignment to be considered
Must have a DC license in hand
C-EFM NCC certification is required at the time of submittal
Two supervisory references, including one from the most recent assignment are required
All RTO must be included at the time of submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review
No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
Amount of RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract
Candidates must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam for clearance, achieving at least an 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms in specified specialties
Candidates are assigned facility-and unit-specific Sitel modules upon hire, which must be completed within one week of signing their contract
Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing
Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
Candidates may be submitted to only one MedStar location at a time

60-mile travel radius

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
