Nights *** Shift: 1x12 7:00pm-7:30am; & 3x8's 11:00pm-7:30am.Unit Name: IV\nTherapy.Brief Unit Description: All IV Therapy Registered RN's must be able\nto achieve and maintain the required core IV Therapy skills/competencies for\nthe department, which are: a) Peripheral IV insertion; b) CVAD dressing change.; c) Non-tunneled CVAD removal; d) Reconstitution, instillation and removal of thrombolytic; e) Access/ de-access implanted ports; f) Repositioning a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC); g) Ultrasound Guided IV lines.\nYears of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience working\nin IV/Venous Access team.Skill\nSets Required: IV\ninsertion, Ultrasound Guided IVs, Picc line insertion.Education Required: BSN Preferred.Patient\nPopulation: ALL Ages \nNeonatal, infant, pediatrics, adult, & geriatricsEMR\n(Charting System) & Equipment Used: EPIC.Floating\nRequired: No.Rotating\nShifts Required: All day shift positions are rotating.Certification\nRequired: Active MA\nRN License.
