RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Shelby, NC
Assignment Overview
Join our dedicated MedSurg/Tele team in a dynamic care environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing patients with stroke, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and more. We value teamwork and patient-centered care.
Assignment Details
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable)
- Shift times: 0630-1900 and 1830-0700
- Weekend rotation: every other
- Holiday expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
- Unit beds: 32
- Patient ratios: RN 1:5-6; surge 1:7-8
- EMR: Epic
- Orientation: facility and unit
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for MedSurg/Tele patients
- Interpret cardiac rhythms
- Manage non-titrating cardiac drips
- Perform wound care and drain/tube management
- Start peripheral IVs and manage central lines
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient-centered care
Qualifications
Required:
- 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Basic Med/Tele skillset
