RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Charlotte, NC
Assignment Overview
Join our dynamic team as a MedSurg/Tele RN, focusing on decompression of the Emergency Department and specialty areas within the hospital. This role is ideal for a seasoned RN with a background in medical and telemetry units. The successful candidate will provide care to adult and geriatric patients with a range of diagnoses, including COPD exacerbations and CHF exacerbations.

- Local Candidate Policy: Permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
- Charting System: Epic
- Technology/Equipment: Alaris IV Pump, Omnicell Med dispensing, Phillips Monitors
- Floating: Within region and scope of practice
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients
- Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications including cardiac drips and blood products
- Manage chest tubes, drains, and IVs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
- Maintain patient documentation in Epic
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, and PIV starts
Preferred:
- Previous travel nurse experience
