Assignment Overview
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, where you will play a vital role within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment and a commitment to compassionate patient care. This position requires on-call availability, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding atmosphere.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 3 12-hour shifts with on-call as required
- No block scheduling requests
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2835 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons
- Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication
- Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
- Participate in continuing education
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS Card
- ACLS Certification
