TRA Case Manager

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.

The RN Case Manager / Utilization Review Nurse is responsible to facilitating care along a continuum through effective resource coordination to help patients achieve optimal health, access to care and appropriate utilization of resources, balanced with the patient’s resources. This position manages medical necessity process for accurate and timely payment for services which may require negotiation with a payer on a case by case basis.

Schedule:
- Onsite at Detroit Receiving Hospital
- Schedule is either 5 days a week Mon - Fri (8 hours a day) OR 4 days a week Wed - Sat (10 hours a day)

Preferred Education
Bachlor of Science in Nursing

Minimum Experience
Must have at least 2 years acute care experience and at least one year of Case Management experience in an Acute Care Discharge environment

Required Certification/Licensure
-State License
-BLS
