TRA CT Tech (Computerized Tomography)

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Formal 2 year radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT
Experience: At least two years in an acute care setting with specific experience in CT Scan (computerized tomography) components.
Licenses/Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography; OR
- ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training on computed tomography
- State license if required
- American Heart Association BLS
- CT registry within 6 months
- AHA BLS
Key Responsibilities:
TRA CT Tech The CT (Computerized Tomography) Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
