Description

• Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist (General/Vascular)
• Shift: 5x8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday from 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; 40 hours per week
• Weekends: Full weekend call coverage approximately once per month
• Scheduled Call Weekends: October 24–26, October 31–November 2, November 26–30, and December 24–28
• On Call: No weekday call; weekend call coverage is 24/7 during assigned weekends
• Holiday Requirements: Call coverage may be required if the holiday falls during the scheduled assignment or core staff coverage is unavailable
• Facility: 167-bed Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Level III Maternity Center, and Primary Stroke Center
• Department Details: 5 ultrasound rooms
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of general and vascular ultrasound experience
• Required Certifications/Licenses: ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and Vascular Technology, plus BLS
• Required Skills: General, abdominal, vascular, small-parts, venous reflux, arterial and venous Doppler studies, and biopsy procedures
• OB/GYN Requirements: Limited examinations for viability assessments of emergency department patients
• Preferred Equipment Experience: GE LOGIQ E10, Siemens, and Parks Flo-Lab
• Patient Ratio: 1:1, averaging approximately one patient per hour
• Documentation Systems: EPIC
