Local Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse – South of San Jose, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,889 (based on experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Local Travel Med/Surg RN for a reputable hospital in San Jose, California. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide quality patient care while enjoying a high-paying local travel assignment in a beautiful Central California location.
Job Description

Deliver direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
Assess, monitor, and document patient condition, medications, and care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge plans
Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care as prescribed
Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-hospital care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Education and Certification Requirements

Active California RN License (unencumbered)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
PALS and ACLS required
BLS Certification (AHA required)
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
