Travel Contract Physical Therapist (PT) – Savannah, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,550/week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a reputable outpatient clinic in Savannah, Georgia to hire a dedicated Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment. This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking a rewarding outpatient setting in a vibrant coastal city.
Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced outpatient environment, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. This role requires strong clinical skills, independence, and a passion for helping patients achieve functional recovery and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Manage a caseload including orthopedic, post-surgical, and general rehabilitation cases
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes
- Active Georgia Physical Therapist license or compact eligibility required
- Minimum of 1 year outpatient experience preferred
- Strong manual therapy and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a structured outpatient environment
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional certifications or advanced training in orthopedic or outpatient care a plus
