Local Travel Emergency Department RN - South of San Jose, California
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,880/Week (DOE)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is currently seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a local travel opportunity in San Jose, CA. This contract role offers competitive pay and the chance to work with a reputable healthcare facility while enjoying the beauty and charm of Central California.
Job Description:

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies
Perform triage, assessments, and interventions quickly and effectively
Administer medications, IV therapy, wound care, and life-saving interventions
Collaborate with ED physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Document patient care and condition accurately using electronic medical records
Respond to emergency codes and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans

Education & Certification Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
Active California RN License (unencumbered)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience in a hospital setting
