Location:  Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 0630-17 4 days per week

Requirements:  2 years of Surgical Tech 2 experience

Travelers Only (Must be 50 miles from hospital location)

Job Summary:
As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Tech 2 collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that patient goals are met and the hospital's mission is carried out. Responsibilities include performing procedures in various specialties requiring advanced knowledge and skills, and demonstrating a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care. Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Required Education:
 

• High School/GED and one of the following:
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist.
• Completion of a Froedtert Health-sponsored Apprentice II Program.
• Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent.
