As the region's referral center for the only Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, this facility provides a wide range of services, including the only open heart and interventional cardiology in the area. The A6W Neuro Med/Tele unit consists of 36 beds, staffed by a team of 40 professionals, including RNs and CNAs, ensuring high-quality patient care with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 5:1, 6:1 on day shift; 7:1 on night shift
• Type of Equipment: Standard Med Surge Equipment
• EMR: Cerner

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: NIH, ACLS
• Preferred: Neuro experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Foley insertion
• IV start

Best Personality Fit: Outgoing, self-motivated

Required Certifications: ACLS, NIH

Floating Areas: Other med surge floors

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue

Weekends and On Call: Every other weekend.
