Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This contract position is ideal for experienced RNs looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic critical care environment. We value our nurses and are proud to be named Best Nurse Agency 2024–2025.

Position Details:

  • Position / Specialty: RN/ CC Float Pool
  • Holiday RTO Restrictions: Must work 2 of the 3 holidays (eve/day of count as one holiday set), Christmas RTO NOT available.
  • Experience Required: Must have 3 years of critical care experience (Level 1 Trauma Center experience) and recent ICU experience within the last year.
  • First-Timers Accepted: No, needs strong ICU experience.
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend.
  • Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS (Preferred: TNCC).
  • On-Call Requirement: No.
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, float to all critical care units.
  • Block Schedule Accommodation: No.
  • Locals Accepted: Yes.
  • Pending License Accepted: No.
  • Telemetry Requirement: Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (there will be a test).
  • Academic/Teaching Facility Experience Required: Yes.
  • Required Skills: Vents, IV start, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
  • Preferred Skills: ICP, PA Lines.

Facility Highlights:

  • Type of Facility: Magnet / Teaching / Level I Trauma Center
  • Total Staffed Beds: 500
  • Scrub Color: Any solid color scrubs; light blue provided on unit.
  • Charting: Epic - HARDSTOP.
  • Daily Onsite Parking Cost: $15 Days M-F / $4 Sat or Sun all day / $5 Eves / $4 Nights.
  • Additional Offsite Parking Option: $10/day offsite, 1 mile away with 10 min. shuttle service operational 5 am-10 pm Monday-Friday.
