Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical-Surgical unit in Bridgeport, WV. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on patient care and professional growth.

As a Med-Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with various diagnoses such as CHF, cardiac conditions, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, orthopedic issues, and oncology. You will work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including reading and interpreting EKG strips.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in holiday rotation and weekend requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license with a focus on Med-Surg experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:5-6.
• Charge nurse experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must adhere to the 50-mile radius rule and provide a copy of an unexpired driver's license.
