Position Overview:

• Average Daily Census: 29
• Rooms/Beds: 30
• Years of Experience Required: 2
• Weekend Requirements: 4-6 shifts every 6 weeks
• Certifications Required: BLS, NIH
• Skills Required: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips (no titration), PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• On-call Requirements: No
• Floating: Yes, within service line and to sister facilities as needed
• Locals Accepted: No, home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Pending License Accepted: No
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
• Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks (canceled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned)
• Special Requirements: General Intermediate population, Sepsis/Infection, Wounds, CHF, Cardiac arrhythmias, AMI, CVA/TIA, Altered mental status, ETOH withdrawal, SI, General Post-op, Ortho, Urology Procedures, GI bleed
• Facility Details: 18 PACU bays, 16 Pre-Op Bays, Monthly census of 450-550 surgical patients and 130-180 GI patients
