Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CVPICU Registered Nurse in Durham, NC. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• NC or Compact RN license in hand is mandatory.
• Willingness to float to other units as needed.
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend.

Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly, and flu vaccines are mandatory with no exemptions or declinations accepted. This position is open to first-time travelers and local candidates within 75 miles, with a local rate adjustment of $5 less.
