Join a leading healthcare organization as a Physical Therapist in Tuba City, AZ, where you will provide quality physical therapy services to a predominately Native American population. This role encompasses the treatment and prevention of physical disabilities or diseases, ensuring a high standard of care for patients ranging from birth through geriatric. You will be responsible for managing and implementing the Physical Therapy program, conducting evaluations, and providing treatment for both inpatients and outpatients.

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Provision of specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinics, geriatric clinics, high school clinics, functional clinics, spinal cord clinics, and assistive technology/adaptive equipment evaluation/treatment.
• Assuming direction and development of the physical therapy section, including continuing quality improvement, risk management, and safety.
• Preparation for Joint Commission accreditation, staff education, reporting, and participation in staff meetings and in-services.
• Meeting the requirements for credentialing to serve on the Medical Staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree from a Commission of Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• License: Must possess a valid, current, full, and unrestricted license in any state within the United States, District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico during tenure of employment.
• Certification: Must have and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with outpatient experience required.
• Additional Credentialing: Applicant must meet requirements to be credentialed to serve on the Medical Staff, with all related information required for credentialing to be provided.
