Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Englewood, CO. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-acuity cardiac care.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 20
• Number of Staff: 40
• Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, 3 PCTs
• Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, 2 PCTs
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Type of Equipment: Tele, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, SCD pumps
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: Minimum 1-year current PCU experience, BLS, ACLS & NIH
• Preferred: Extensive neuro experience, cardiac experience

Typical Procedures Performed on the Unit:

• Chest tube placement and removal
• Removal of pacer wires
• 12 lead EKGs
• Drips: heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, ketamine
