Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Independence, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on high-quality patient care.

Unit Information:

• Unit: 7N Cardiac Telemetry
• Number of Beds: 36
• Number of Staff: 70
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge, 9 RN/LPN, 3 PCT (Full staffing)
• Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge, 8 RN/LPN, 3 PCT (Full staffing)
• Patient Ratios: 4 to 5:1
• Type of Equipment: Pyxis, Alaris pumps, Welch Allen Vitals machines
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must Have: ACLS, experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, Cardizem drips.
• Preferred: Candidates with additional telemetry experience will be considered first.

Best Personality Fit: We are looking for a fast-paced, high-energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork.

Required Certifications: ACLS

Floating Areas: Other telemetry departments, med-surg, PCU

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Grey for RNs

Weekends and On Call: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule; Friday and Saturday for nights, Saturday and Sunday for days.
