We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room (OR) in Tampa, FL. This is a contract position with a focus on scrub and circulate roles. We will accept applications from those who can only circulate as well. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience, as they will be required to float throughout the hospital. Experience in a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center is essential, while surgery center experience will not be counted towards the required years of experience.
Applicants for day shifts should be well-rounded and ready to assist with various specialties, including:
- Orthopedic (joint and trauma)
- Neurosurgery (crani and spine)
- Plastic/Burn
- General/Trauma
- Colorectal
- Surgical Oncology
- Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
- Urology
- Robotics
- Cardiovascular (CV)
- Thoracic
- Vascular
- Transplant
For off shifts (evenings, nights, weekends), applicants should have experience across all service lines, including pediatrics and eyes. The night shift is 12 hours, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
