Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist in Hackensack, NJ. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,800.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway clearance treatments
Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and other life-support equipment
Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpret results to guide patient care
Respond to respiratory emergencies, code blue situations, and rapid response activations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and home care equipment when appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
Active New Jersey Respiratory Care License required
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP certification preferred for facilities providing neonatal or pediatric care
Strong knowledge of ventilator management, respiratory diagnostics, and critical care procedures
Excellent communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
