Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Massachusetts travel nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: November 16, 2025
• End Date: February 14, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights & Every Other Weekend (12-hour shifts)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020
• Floating: Required (primarily to Medical/Surgical units)
• RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 in ICU; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated
• EMR: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (Registered Nurse – MA)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of general ICU nursing experience
• At least 2 years of continuous MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) experience in one location
• Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• Willingness to float to Medical/Surgical units as needed
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
• Manage patients with complex diagnoses: substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, cardiogenic shock
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including 24/7 attendings and residents
• Float to Medical/Surgical units as required, managing up to 4-5 patients when floated
• Demonstrate advanced critical care and telemetry nursing skills
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC EMR system
• Participate in rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekend
