Emergency Room RN Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NH 03867 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Emergency Department (Main Building)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780–$1910
• Unit Size: 18 head walls, 10 halls
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Documentation System: Expanse
• Equipment: GE
• Dress Code: Scrubs
• Flexible scheduling and experienced, supportive staff

ER RN Qualifications and Requirements

• Active Compact Registered Nurse License (RN license) required at submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience (Emergency Room nursing preferred)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
• Perform advanced ER nursing procedures and respond to critical situations
• Document patient care accurately using Expanse system
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and unit secretaries in a dynamic clinical environment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and emergency nursing guidelines
• Float to other units as required to support hospital operations
• Promote a positive patient experience and uphold safety standards
