ER RN Job Details – Manchester, NH Healthcare Jobs
- Location: Manchester, NH 03102 (New Hampshire nursing jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- End Date: March 23, 2026
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks (travel nurse contract)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 – $1910
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (On-Site)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Dress Code: Scrubs (no hooded shirts or sweatshirts)
Emergency Room RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in NH or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (all required for ER nurse jobs)
- Strong adaptability and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient assessment abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to high-quality patient care
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Sunrise/Allscripts preferred)
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients with acute and complex conditions, including trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and psychiatric emergencies
- Perform and assist with emergency procedures: trauma care, laceration repair, orthopedic trauma, ultrasound-guided IV and IO insertion, eye exams, EKGs, and cardiopulmonary interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs, ED Techs, and providers
- Operate advanced medical equipment (Lucas Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis)
- Initiate patient workups and order labs, imaging, and medications per department protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and prioritize patient safety in a fast-paced emergency department
- Demonstrate flexibility in patient ratios during acute surges (typically 4:1)
