Location: Asheville, NC 28801
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
Healthcare Setting: Interventional Spine Unit
Start Date: December 15, 2025
End Date: March 16, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Nursing Shift: 8 Hour Days (07:30-16:00)
Hours per Week: 40
Open Positions: 1
Dress Code: White or navy scrub top with navy scrub pants

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
BCLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in telemetry or interventional spine
Proficient in IV starts and clinical assessment
Knowledge of blood thinners and NSAIDs
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Strong teamwork and adaptability skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Interventional Spine Unit (patient ratio 1:1 or 1:2)
Perform IV starts, monitor vital signs, and assist with spine procedures (cervical/lumbar epidural injections, sacral iliac joint injections, hip injections, medical branch blocks)
Operate vital signs monitors and C-Arm fluoroscopy equipment
Accurately document care and interventions in Cerner EMR
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Float between two office locations as needed
