Colorado Nursing Job Details
- Location: Aurora, CO 80012
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 19, 2026
- End Date: April 20, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Large cardiac population; float to Medical/Telemetry and Rehab units as needed
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or Telemetry nursing experience (2 years preferred)
- Strong Telemetry and clinical skills
- Ability to float to other inpatient units (Medical/Telemetry, Rehab, Oncology)
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Chemo certification is a plus for Oncology unit float
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care to cardiac and medically diverse patients in the PCU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to Medical/Telemetry and Rehab units as needed
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines
- Demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and a team-oriented approach
