PCU Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Lone Tree, Colorado (80124) – Denver metro area
- Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
- Start Date: January 26, 2026
- End Date: April 27, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Unit: 5th Floor Med/Tele/PCU (38 beds)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Team Structure: Night shift includes 1 charge RN, 7-9 Registered Nurses, and 2-3 Medical Support Technicians (MSTs)
- Technology: New lift equipment, mobile technology, Meditech EMR
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling options available
PCU Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, Medical/Telemetry, or acute care nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
- Cardiac nursing experience preferred
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
PCU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care to PCU and cardiac patients
- Monitor and manage cardiac drips, cardiac catheterizations, and post-op VATS patients
- Utilize advanced lift equipment and cardiac monitoring devices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
- Document nursing care and interventions using Meditech EMR
- Promote a positive, team-oriented clinical environment
