Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (Asheville travel nurse opportunity / North Carolina nursing jobs)
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nursing Job)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (02/16/2026 – 05/18/2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift RN role
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800 - $1890
Orientation: 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour unit shift
Dress Code: RNs wear all navy, all white, or a combination of navy and white

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact) — RN license required for North Carolina
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and prior experience in fast-paced progressive care or telemetry environments

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care for PCU patients during scheduled night shifts
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Perform accurate documentation of patient care and progress in the electronic medical record
Participate in unit orientation, continuing education, and professional development
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including tobacco-free campus guidelines
