Job Details – Travel Nursing (Nashville, Tennessee)

• Location: Nashville, Tennessee (Zip: 37203) — Travel Nursing, On-Site
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• End Date: June 8, 2026
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts) — Night Shift L&D Nurse
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570–$1650/week
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or valid Compact RN license (Tennessee nursing jobs eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience — OB nursing, maternal-newborn, or perinatal experience preferred
• BLS certification required; specialty certifications (e.g., NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring) a plus
• Strong clinical skills in fetal monitoring, assisting with deliveries, newborn stabilization, and postpartum care
• Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities in fast-paced L&D settings

Responsibilities – Labor & Delivery RN / L&D Nurse

• Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn nursing care during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
• Continuously monitor patient progress and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring; document assessments accurately
• Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric procedures
• Perform newborn assessments, stabilization, and immediate postpartum interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—OB physicians, midwives, neonatal staff, and ancillary services—to ensure high-quality, safe patient care
