• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770

• Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36

• Setting: Hospital-based Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience as a bedside NICU RN or neonatal nurse
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Ability to complete hospital orientation (4 hours) and an 8-hour floor shift
• Professionalism, adaptability, and strong critical-thinking skills in fast-paced neonatal intensive care

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based neonatal care to infants in the NICU
• Monitor and assess newborns, administer medications, manage ventilators and other neonatal equipment as required
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate and support families during the NICU stay, providing clear communication and emotional support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and patient safety standards
• Participate in unit orientation, ongoing education, and team meetings to support continuous improvement

Preferred

• Previous experience with high-acuity neonatal interventions and equipment
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
