• Location: Somerville, NJ 08876 (Somerset County) — New Jersey CT jobs / travel CT technologist opportunity
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,240 – $2,400
• Setting: Hospital – CT / Cat Scan Unit (Emergency & inpatient imaging)
• Equipment: GE 64 Multi Slice Scanner

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT technologist experience required (hospital/ER and inpatient preferred)
• ARRT CT Certification required (Computed Tomography)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
• Active New Jersey (NJ) state CT technologist license required prior to start
• Experience operating GE 64 Multi Slice Scanner strongly preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and manage high-volume caseloads in emergency and inpatient settings
• Ability to float within skillset as needed; strong clinical judgment and patient-care focus
• EPIC charting experience a plus (electronic medical record / diagnostic imaging documentation)

Responsibilities – CT Technologist / Diagnostic Imaging

• Perform all CT studies including CTA (CT Angiography) and advanced CT protocols for diverse patient populations
• Conduct both routine and emergent CT exams in ER and inpatient environments with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate and troubleshoot GE 64 Multi Slice Scanner equipment and associated imaging systems
• Manage an average caseload of approximately 25 cases per day while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Document procedures, patient history, and imaging results in EPIC and other hospital systems per policy
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital protocols; follow established QA procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient throughput and care
