Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Location: Tallahassee, FL 32308 — Travel Nurse opportunity in Florida
- Setting: High-Risk Labor & Delivery / Antenatal Unit (L&D, LDRP, Mother-Baby)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Extra Shift Requirement: One additional shift per 4-week schedule cycle
- Employment Type: Travel / Travel Nurse / Travel RN
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an RN
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or LDRP/Mother-Baby experience
- Strong ECG interpretation skills and experience with immediate newborn care
- Current and valid RN license
- Required certifications: AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent)
- Ability to circulate and recover C-sections (C-section circulation/recovery experience)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, high-acuity care to mothers and newborns in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor fetal and maternal status using advanced fetal monitoring; interpret tracings and ECGs
- Respond rapidly to obstetric and neonatal emergencies and escalate care appropriately
- Circulate and recover C-sections as needed; support operative delivery workflow
- Deliver immediate newborn care including initial resuscitation and stabilization
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, comply with facility protocols, and uphold patient safety standards
