Top Qualifications (CT Technologist Jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (CT tech, Computed Tomography)
- ARRT CT certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- EPIC experience required (electronic medical record experience)
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners required
- Previous travel experience preferred; flexible CT travel technologists encouraged to apply
- Current credentials/licensure as required for CT technologists in Connecticut
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive CT imaging across all areas: CTA neuro, vascular, trauma, orthopedic, and routine body CT exams
- Provide CT imaging services for adult patients in ER, inpatient, outpatient, stroke center, and Trauma Level 3 settings
- Conduct angiography and contrast-enhanced CT studies as needed, following departmental protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot GE and Siemens CT equipment while maintaining quality control and radiation safety
- Document exams and patient information accurately in EPIC and communicate findings to radiology team and clinicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (radiologists, ED staff, trauma teams) to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in mandatory overtime rotation when needed to maintain unit coverage and patient safety
