Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Med/Surg RN or Acute Cardiology nurse
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible to practice in Georgia
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Comfortable with night shift schedules and a varied rotating schedule
• No local candidates within 50 miles (open to travel nurses outside the immediate area)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the Acute Med/Surg Cardiology Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment (cardiac-focused care)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by providers
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and cardiac health management
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff while following facility protocols
