- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980 – $2,080
- Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:00pm and 11:00am–11:00pm)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site — Homecare nursing / Hospital at Home
- Patient Population: Adults (medical-surgical level, stable patients) — adult & geriatric care
- Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS rate
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of critical care, acute care, or medical-surgical RN experience required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Virginia RN license or compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS certification required
- EPIC charting experience required (electronic health record / documentation proficiency)
- Experience with adult and/or geriatric patient populations preferred
- Home health, telephone triage, and Level I trauma experience preferred
- Ability to float within scope if needed
- 2 professional references required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, acute-level inpatient care in the home setting following individualized care plans (Hospital at Home model)
- Perform admission assessments, routine visits, and respond to changes in condition for adult/geriatric patients
- Implement the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including remote clinical coordination
- Document all patient care accurately in EPIC (electronic health record)
- Coordinate services, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments and procedures as indicated
- Monitor patients using telehealth and remote patient monitoring tools and provide timely clinical interventions
- Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality during in-person and virtual encounters
- Participate in orientation and complete required training modules during the first week
