- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must meet state requirements for travel assignments)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience in Med/Surg (2 years highly desired)
- Strong patient assessment, documentation, and communication skills (electronic charting experience a plus)
Key Responsibilities (Medical-Surgical Nursing)
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for Med/Surg patients (medical-surgical patient care, patient assessment)
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and orientees
- Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and contribute to discharge planning and care coordination
- Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge goals
- Maintain effective communication with physicians, charge nurses, and other clinical team members
- Demonstrate leadership, clinical judgment, and teamwork in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
