Job Details – Travel Nursing Job in Camden, NJ

• Location: Camden, NJ (floating to Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL as needed)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 05/11/2026 – End: 08/10/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 – $2,480
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Contract Nurse)
• Setting: Level II Special Care Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience (within the last 12 months) — neonatal nurse or NICU RN experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (must be valid and not expire within 30 days of assignment start)
• Experience attending deliveries preferred; neonatal resuscitation and stabilization skills required
• Epic charting experience preferred (experience with electronic medical records/EMR helpful)
• COVID-19 and annual flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float to multiple hospitals within skillset as needed (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, OLOL)
• First-time travel nurses accepted but preference given to experienced travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care to neonates in Level II Special Care Nursery and NICU settings
• Attend deliveries as needed and support newborn stabilization and resuscitation
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios (typically 1:2 in the NICU) and prioritize patient safety
• Document care accurately using Epic or other EMR systems (charting, flow sheets, and medication records)
• Float between assigned hospitals based on census and staffing needs while maintaining competence across units
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal neonatal outcomes
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled; complete required orientation modules and pass a dysrhythmia test during orientation
