Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,420 – $2,550
• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 (Southwest Florida travel nursing)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (5/18/2026 – 8/15/2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (with call)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN or cardiac operating room experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (valid in the state of Florida)
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Scrub and circulate experience in a CVOR/perioperative setting
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Ability to float to other units and sister campuses as needed
• All requested time off must be submitted with application

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, serving in both scrub and circulate roles
• Support cardiac surgery cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate perioperative documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotations and float to other units as required
• Contribute to a positive unit culture and function as core staff on the CVOR team
