RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts
• Must have 3 years of CVOR experience and at least 2 travel assignments
• Float to all different specialty pods where experienced in circulating and/or scrubbing
• On-call requirement is dependent on shift time
• Must be willing to work in various OR centers including Neuro, ENT, OMFS, Eyes, Dental, Plastics, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General, GYN, Urology, and Robotics
• Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1
• Required to attend EPIC training during orientation with opportunity to test out
• Must complete full EPIC training if unable to pass initial test
• BLS certification required
• Cannot have a Tallahassee address to be considered
• No block scheduling permitted

This is a Level 2 trauma teaching facility that serves as a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. The healthcare organization features 772 beds with a 28-suite operating room department. The OR facilities are strategically located across ground floor and first floor levels, with specialized centers dedicated to different surgical specialties including neurosciences, orthopedics, cardiothoracic procedures, and general surgery services.
